Our Owners:
Debra Merrigan, LMP
Debra graduated from the Brian Utting School of Massage in Seattle in 1989. She worked as an office manager in a massage clinic while going to massage school. She has been in the massage arena for over 22 years. Her massage career started in Kirkland, WA and then moved to West Seattle where she managed a multi-therapist practice at a chiropractor’s office. In 1993 she decided to expand her practice and moved Advanced Massage to a larger facility in Burien, WA. 2004 brought another move to the Seahurst neighborhood west of Burien. Her passion has always been in rehabilitation massage. Her practice and clinic have a long standing reputation for rehabilitative work with the medical community serving Highline and West Seattle.
Amy Rutherford, LMP
With a background in social services, Amy graduated from the Brian Utting School of Massage (currently Cortiva) in 1996. She started her practice that year at Advanced Massage and became a business partner in 2000. Amy focuses on rehabilitative massage, and has training in Cranial Sacral Therapy.
